YouTube was the brainchild of Chad Hurley, Jawed Karim, and Steve Chen. They wanted to build a vehicle that would allow anyone the ability to upload videos to the internet to share. FaceBook was developed by Mark Zuckerberg and some of his Harvard classmates to be used by students to meet others and share information and videos.

This article caught my attention as I am fairly new to advertising on the internet and it reinforces that the internet is the marketing trend of the future. According to Sandra Bienkowski, YouTube and FaceBook are changing the future of marketing. These two tools are opening the doors of marketing through the internet and providing efficient, cost effective marketing sources for just about anyone with internet access.

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
